Standards that keep civic information honest

We separate useful civic guidance from the decisions and responsibilities that remain with public institutions and people.

01

Evidence before assertion

Every answer must trace back to reviewed sources and an approved statement.

02

Limits are part of the answer

Where the evidence cannot support routing, timing or universal responsibility, the product says so.

03

Human authority stays human

Automation can help present evidence; it cannot make an official decision or act on behalf of a public institution.

04

Privacy through minimization

The current public website works without accounts, submissions, persistent conversations or provider-connected AI.

05

No simulated capability

Any Civic Assistant pilot capability is labelled with its actual inactive, active or closed state and does not imply government action.

06

Accessible by default

Keyboard access, reflow, contrast and clear language are treated as product requirements.
