You do not need an account. This website does not save your choices or conversations. The separate invitation-only STEP UP NAIJA Civic Assistant pilot has its own notice below.
Public website questions
Choices in the responsibility guide are checked in your browser against the available reviewed knowledge. They are not sent to an AI service or written to cookies, browser storage or a database.
Ordinary web infrastructure
Visiting any website still involves ordinary network requests and may generate hosting, security or request metadata outside the application itself. Not saving your choices does not mean that hosting and network services create no technical records.
Civic Assistant pilot: inactive
The invitation-only WhatsApp Civic Assistant pilot is inactive. This public website does not accept or store civic submissions. A pilot may be activated only after its privacy conditions and bounded authority are complete.
For invited adults: share what happened and the general area, not private details. Our team can review your report but cannot promise a fix. Read the full notice before agreeing.

This notice describes the bounded pilot, not data collection by the public website. An inactive or closed pilot does not accept new submissions.
Before you participate
This is a limited STEP UP NAIJA Civic Assistant pilot for invited adults in Lagos State. STEP UP NAIJA is not a government reporting or emergency authority. Participation is voluntary, and nothing is published during the pilot.
What the pilot requests
Invited participants may provide one English-text issue description, a broad location, optional local government area, severity and duration. Do not send attachments, precise addresses, identifiers, financial or health information, children's information, emergencies or urgent safety matters.
How information moves
Meta/WhatsApp carries pilot messages to the STEP UP NAIJA pilot runtime and database. A named authorised operator may review the minimum pilot record and provide a limited status. The pilot does not automatically route reports to government.
Retention and choices
The pilot uses a versioned retention policy. Incomplete intake is kept no longer than 72 hours or pilot close; cancelled intake is deleted within 24 hours; completed submissions use the approved pilot retention period; technical logs and backups expire on shorter schedules. Invited participants can use the PRIVACY command for access, correction, deletion, withdrawal or complaint instructions.
What acknowledgement means
An acknowledgement or status confirms only receipt or limited STEP UP NAIJA review. It is not a government status, verification, promise of action, legal advice or emergency response.
