Participation / voluntary

A useful contribution
begins with a choice.

You can read, ask a clearer question or keep the source and date. Participation is voluntary, and it does not guarantee an official response.

Keep it specific.

  1. State what you want to understand.

“Where can I find the current published process?” is more useful than assuming a process exists.

  2. Separate observation from interpretation.

Describe what the available evidence supports. Leave room for uncertainty and correction.

  3. Protect people.

Do not share personal, sensitive or identifying information unnecessarily. A public conversation is not a private reporting channel.
